2005 a prospective client contacted us saying she had a really bad problem
with an investment property she had that was leased out by four lease
holders, three of these were flat owners and one was an estate agency
shop for letting property in Worthing.
The problem was, as the lease owner she was responsible for the exterior
maintenance of the whole property. About three years previously the
tenants decided that they would replace all their old wooden windows,
doors, fascia board and soffits ect with new PVC-ue.
As this property is next door to West Worthing railway and the problem
here was brake dust from trains causing fine airborne metal bust (Iron
oxide residue) landing on the new plastics and the residents' complaining
and getting very upset that they could not clean this off with normal
houshold detergent; and if she could not do something about this they
may have to spend another £14,000 to replace them.
This lady contacted us about this and we inspected the site and decided
we could sort the problem out which we did to the complete satisfaction
of our client whom kindly wrote to us stating how pleased she was, as
follows...

Having inspected the works your company undertook at our investment
property, we felt it only right to drop a line and thank you for the
excellent result, for which we are very pleased.
The property is adjacent to Tarring railway crossing and you will by
now know that brake dust from the trains had settled the the double
glaxed window and doors, pitting the plastic and impossible to remove
with ordinary household products. Your company must have put in a great
deal of effort to bring then up like like new.
We were impressed with the power spraying of the patio area, which had
not beed attended to for many years. Our first impression was that you
had replaced the patio with new slabs! So again we should like to thank
you. We shouds also like to express our appriciation for your personal
attention and going that extra mile by spraying weed-killer ect. to
finish an all round good job.
Looking around the country at the grubby state of many properties, particulary
commercial, we think that with the results your company achieved you
deserve considerable success, whilst at the same time helping to reverse
the sliding standard of maintenance in the UK.
